Pupils learn to calculate the volume of pyramids and cones using the relevant formula. There is a selection of harder questions to challenge the more able on the sheet. In the powerpoint is a link to a demonstration of the formula (not involving calculus as students studying this topic most likely will not have encountered this yet!). The video is NOT my own work - credit goes to mathematicsonline for that! If you liked this resource then please check out my other stuff on here!

Awesome slides with real life applications. However, volume of pyramid is cubic feet for slide number 7. For slide 8, perhaps could add "h" on the diagram or question to make it more complete. Thank you so much for your very useful resource.Once again, many thanks!
