A lesson which plans a descriptive writing/creative writing piece inspired by war (specifically the film Greyhound and the Battle of the Atlantic).
It include clips/links for context as well as a clip from the film Greyhound to use as inspiration.
This is part of a unit called ‘clashes and conflict’ which includes war poetry (WW1 and others) as well as non-fiction texts.
Pupils in this lesson are required to plan and write a description as a soldier/military/navy sailor from their perspective.
