This comprehensive English resource is based on the popular novel “Sky Hawk” by Gill Lewis and provides a week’s worth of engaging lessons. Using colourful semantics, the resource focuses on improving learners’ sentence structure and writing skills. The cycle of work leads to the creation of a diary entry as Iona, with a particular focus on developing three essential skills including; fronted adverbials, consistent use of past tense, and subordinate clauses (this can differentiated). Additionally, the resource includes necessary documents, including the model text based on Sky Hawk, and information sheets on ospreys, which is a key element in the story. As it is based on using colourful semantics, it’s an excellent option for intervention groups. Don’t miss out on the whole class version at a Year 5 level, also available in our store!

Weeks 2 and 3 of the Sky Hawk English lessons are available as separate purchases. To make things easier and more cost-effective for you, I am also offering a bulk purchase option for all three weeks.

If you find this resource useful, it would be greatly appreciated it if you could take a moment to leave a review. Thank you :)
