Full Year 7 lesson: vocabulary different languages + the irregular verb sprechen.
Students have already been introduced to regular verbs: sein, heissen, wohnen, kommen aus. They understand what it means to conjugate a verb and know the personal pronouns from previous lesson. This is the first irregular verb they are introduced to.
Lesson includes speaking activities in pairs as well as a fun writing formative assessment where students are asked to introduce famous persons in German.
