Whatever Next story retelling draft

I used these worksheets with mixed ability KS1 classes, usually Year 2, when developing an understanding of story content and structure.
There are two worksheets providing differentiated opportunities for pupils to record ideas when retelling the story “Whatever Next” by Jill Murphy. They then used these ideas within more extended pieces of writing in later lessons.
