Who is the most popular celebrity?
This is a whole class speaking activity in whichstudents assume the identity of celebrities and invite each other out (it can be as a date or as friends). The aim is to find the most and least popular celebrities. It is designed to take the embarassment factor away from doing speaking work on the topic of invitations as it is the celebrities who are being rejected; not the pupils. I usually cut out the celeb identities and get students to stick them onto themselves. There is a vocab sheet to support those who need it.
