Two lessons working with geog and science to show how soil analysis works to solve the murder of Joe G. O’graphy.
Apologies for puns.
You will need 6 pairs of shoes in bags and seven different samples of soil. Joe G O’Graphy is dead and students must match the soil samples using sensory analysis, pH and soil profiles in a water solution to find whodunnit. When they have, they must prep to give their evidence in front of a judge (I ask the Head or Deputy to pop in).

Also included is a reading comprehension for extension.
