This lesson is focused around the various reasons why Labour won the 1945 election.

Starter encourages students to listen to Churchill's final speech and outline their surprise at the crowd reaction to show discontent at the PM and Conservative party

Students will then engage in a group task that allows them to find out the various reasons why Labour won the election using DAPLER as an easy technique students can bring into the exam.

To finish, students are to produce an acrostic poem remember the reasons for Labour’s victory
