Word Problems Year 2 Adding in Tens (full lesson)

The presentation document is for the input (as well as plenaries) where you go through the first few questions as a class and then the last few on whiteboards individually. The three sheets are LA lower ability, MA middle ability and HA higher ability. The word problems should be trimmed individually with one sheet per child. After answering enough questions children can explain their method on the template and then write their own similar word problems. These questions can be used with any method you are learning such as number lines, hundred squares etc.
