Worksheets for finding the difference, Year 1, to be used with counters

Mine really struggled to find the difference between numbers. So I’ve made a few worksheets to help them work through it. They start by just using counters on the green coloured activities, one colour for one animal and a different for another, then compare. When they are used to that, they can move onto the yellow and start creating the number sentences and use the answer to fill in a stem sentence. Then they move onto the red and fill in all of the stem sentence, then on the purple begin to link to number lines and counting back.
