This was designed for a Personal Development day. It should last all day. The students are split into teams and do a series of challenges. Challenges include, matching evacuees with families, a harvest race, scavenger hunt and home guard duties such as code-breaking and detecting light through a blackout window the students design themselves. They also make a gas mask box. Certificates are also included. Most of the resources are in the PowerPoint, complete with Pathe clips.
