This classroom activity helps students understand the importance of detail, equipment lists, and clear, numbered steps in writing scientific methods.
Students work in groups to follow different sets of robot drawing instructions-without realising each group has been given varying levels of detail. At the end, the “real” robot is revealed, and students compare how closely their drawings matched depending on the clarity of the method.
