Writing up a science investigation: structure and explanations UKS2

This document lists the subheadings and explains the structure of each part of a written recording of a science investigation so even if the children are just recording part of the investigation, they can see how it fits into the complete write up. My children have a copy of this glued into the back cover of their science book as a reminder - by the time they get to Y6, most are very adept at writing up their investigations and are desperate to do the whole thing.
