I love this resource, and have used bits of it. Very interesting. However, a little concerned about the "write a suicide note" task. I can see the intention, but I think it needs to be explained in a very responsible way to avoid later headlines!
A fantastic resource! We were looking to mark the centenary of the January 1915 chemical trench warfare as part of the 1914 centenary anniversary at the City of Norwich School in all KS3 Science lessons and this has provided some excellent ideas and has mean that we have not had to reinvent the wheel.
