This groups together French propaganda posters from WW1. Pupils use their dictionary skills along side knowledge from other subjects to decode the images. These are followed by archive photographs of the different animals used by the military during WW1.

Interesting. Thank you. I was looking for a way in to a cross-curricular project with the History dept. about WW1. We did something similar about protests where they discussed marches, riots etc. and we looked at the posters - so this looks like a possible way in. Youtube clips have been blocked so I will find something else.
