This 5 session guided reading unit is all about a newspaper report. This newspaper report is actually based on Kensuke’s Kingdom, however no knowledge of this text is needed.

Great to study across a week or half term, these sessions are based around reading the text together as a whole class (or group) and predicting, clarifying vocabulary and exploring the text.

Children will build up a knowledge of the features and language used in a newspaper report.
