This SOW introduces students to the concept of film music and specifically how they need to shape their music to suit the mood/emotion of the visual. I advice that you run the assessment part of this unit on ICT and load the trailer into a garageband file (or whatever DAW you have access to). The outcomes from the students tend to be higher quality. However, I have run this with students performing on live instruments and it has been still very successful.
