Year 2- 1 week recount (Goldilocks)

This planning focuses on the well known story of Goldilocks and builds on the children’s used and knowledge of adventurous vocabulary.

Within the SMART slides there are modeled pieces of writing and opportunity for the class to practice their own version with what they have learnt, before they go off and independently write. The week begins with a literacy shed video focusing on vocabulary before the next 2 sessions cover the different parts of Goldlilocks, with the 4th session looking at vocab and planning the recount of Golilocks. And the last session focusing on the whole recount independent writing.
