Year 2 Multiplication on Number Lines (with plan, input, worksheets and extension word problems)

Lesson plan, teacher input presentation, differentiated worksheets and extensions are provided. Children can copy the questions into their books. Pupils can also write the inverse as a challenge to practise. Children explain their method after finishing the worksheet and as an extension try word problems. A word problem is also the plenary. You will need to draw lines on the explanation bubbles (to describe their method) to help children write straight.
