FREE Year 3 & 4 Maths Starters: One Week of Times Tables and Number Facts

Five minutes a day to build the number facts Year 3 and Year 4 pupils need: times tables, doubling and halving, using known facts (30 × 4 from 3 × 4), number bonds and mental adding and subtracting. Twenty quick-fire questions per sheet in the same format every day, so pupils settle into the routine and watch their scores climb.

Year 3 covers: 3, 4 and 8 times tables with 2, 5 and 10 recap; known facts (30 × 4, 120 ÷ 4); doubling and halving; adding and subtracting ones, tens and hundreds; number bonds to 10, 20 and 100; 10 and 100 more or less.

Year 4 covers: all times tables to 12 × 12 (towards the Multiplication Tables Check); known facts (60 × 7, 420 ÷ 7); × 0, × 1 and multiplying three numbers; doubling and halving; number bonds to 100 and 1,000; 1,000 more or less.
