Year 7 - Rhythm and Pulse Stomp SOW

SOW overview, power points and all necessary links for my Year 7 Term 1 SOW teaching the Elements of Music through Stomp. The whole scheme looks to build on whole class ensemble skills from the very start of the project by building up the 4 chord song introducing the elements. Lessons 3 - 7 then move to small group skills teaching Rhythm and Pulse through Stomp Music continually building on the elements throughout the project.
Students design and bring in their own Stomp instruments from home so can tie in well as a recycled music project. Last year one student brought in a carrot after following a clip on You Tube. Starters all included. Power points can all be edited.
