I current use this as my final unit in year 8 as it builds on the knowledge of keyboard performance from year 7 and develops pupils knowledge of melody from all previous units
There is no ‘powerpoint’ for this unit as I simply display the pupil booklet, reducing cognitive overload and ensuring that what is on the screen matches what is in front of the pupil.
This unit of work is designed to last 8/9 weeks and is based around individual work on the keyboard.
