This lesson is designed for Year 8/9 students studying the First World War. This lesson focuses on the end of the First World War, aims of the Big Three, the Treaty of Versailles as well as the creation and success of the League of Nations. Students will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the aims of the Big Three and how that lead to the Treaty of Versailles as well as the opportunity to evaluate the success of the League of Nations in preventing future conflicts.
