One spelling worksheet with its lesson plan in this free 10-page sample from Year 8 English Framework: Word Level Lesson Starters.

‘-Able or -Ible?’ asks students to group adjective endings, complete sentences and match words to definitions. The plan includes teaching strategies, differentiation and suggested answers.

The sample also contains the title, introduction, contents, general guidelines and Section One pages. The plan for ‘Ea’ is included without its worksheet. Provide paper or individual whiteboards for the short tasks.

The full 90-page PDF contains 30 worksheets with plans, additional teacher-led starters and three appendix sheets across spelling, spelling strategies and vocabulary.

The preview images illustrate the full pack and include pages beyond this sample. Original 2002 National Literacy Strategy Framework references are retained without a claim of current alignment.
