This project was thoroughly enjoyed by my year 9s. It has been designed to match the assessment objectives within the GCSE course with AQA. It fits into experimentation and exploration of a given title.
Students research what they think is fantastic and strange and then develop a photomontage on the computer or as a simple cut and stick collage. There is a section for students to amend their work as they go along. They can produce as many collages/photomontages as they like until they complete a final piece.
It is a great project for students to fully explore the concept of experimentation and getting them used to analysing and reflecting on their work.
For additional work, I simply got them to staple the sheets to the task sheet when it came to the handing in deadline.
