This was initially designed for a competence based curriculum and for year 9s.
The scheme of work uses a lot of the RSC active approaches to exploring the use of villains in a variety of plays.
The final assessment was to create the prequel or sequel to one of the plays with a focus on the villain.
This of course can be adapted to focus on an analytical aspect.
There are links to youtube and also you will need to use the RSC teacher packs for some resources as this is what I mainly use when preparing and planning.
The lessons were for 2 hours and therefore you may need to cut and change where a lesson starts and ends to suit your school.
