This is on AQA, EDECELL and OCR work for chem and standard science work
these pwpt make it easier to teach and have examples and worked through questions
enjoy
This is a full pwpt with all you need to cover this area of the course. It had theory of all the reactions in simple equation form and then expands with detailed work on the mechanisms and slight ext and variations involved.
There are varied tasks for students to complete and lots of testing as they go through, with simple recall tasks as well as integrated past exam questions throughout.
Enjoy
This is a 2 pwpt resource which has :
1) 20 question grid on the topic which is great for competition in the lessons and getting a different atmosphere into the work
2) Taboo game which helps the students develop a fuller understanding of the language needed for the topic
Enjoy
This is a full pwpt on Born Haber cycles and A level thermodynamics.
It has a recap of Hess law and Yr 12 work and then moves forward into the A2 work.
Spec statements are linked to each section with full theoretical sections, varied tasks for the students to complete and integrated past paper questions.
Their is a linked homework sheet and worksheet for Enthalpy changes.
Also a full topic spec sheet as well ( which will link to this and the 2 other pwpts on this topic)
This is a 50+ slide pwpt that takes you through the whole topic. There are lots of key notes, optional tasks or routes through for the students. A few integrated past paper exam questions and also a series of homework sheets with past paper questions as well.
The new work on naturel condensation polymers is completed with some key factual slides and useful little video clips embedded into the work.
The whole topic learning journey is added and integrated fully in the pwpt to show the progress through the topic
Enjoy
This is a full 25+ slide pwpt that takes you through all you need for BUFFER chemistry.
Based around AQA course but equally relevant for OCR and Edexcel.
It has theory about the reason for and role of buffers, broken down examples on the pH calculations and integrated past exam questions to test full understanding.
It has ext work to really test your most able with creating a buffer from a weak acid and partial neutralisation AND the calculation of the actual pH change when we have a buffer reacting with an acid.
Enjoy!
There are 2 game based resources to help engage the students in reviewing the key experimental terms for their GCSE science exams.
Taboo game to get the students to really look over their language and the links they can make for these terms.
20 question grid which can promote challenge and competition in the class, excellent for use when students in teams and using whiteboards.
