TES Maths Resource of the Week
Resources title: Four quick questions
Resource author: sgosrani
What is it?
With over 200 sets of four questions, this extensive revision resource is ideal for encouraging a focused, efficient start to your KS3 and KS4 lessons.
Each question set includes problems on number, algebra, geometry and data. Plus, the questions are presented on a single PowerPoint slide, so can either be projected onto a screen or easily printed.
How can it be used?
These question sets can be used throughout the year to consolidate key learning, or in the build-up to exams, and work really well as a 'think, pair, share' activity.
Distribute a copy of the questions to each pupil to work on individually for five minutes. Then, give them some time to compare answers and work out methods with a partner. Finally, go through the steps to answering each question as a class.
There's a huge amount of value in short but regular bursts of revision and this resource is perfectly designed to help you achieve that.
