    • GCSE Similar Triangles. Whole lesson on Similar Triangles. Includes sort card activity, lesson plan and supporting PowerPoint. Teaches key words and also includes differentiated worksheet. It is quite simple. The PowerPoint begins with an opening question that students come back to at the end to show progression of learning.

      Great resource Thanks

    • Decide which buildings are free from zombies (shufflers and nibblers) by using knowledge of congruence and similarity to help Deputy Nick Crimes. The PowerPoint has basic animations (the answers basically) as it was exported from Notebook, but I've no doubt you can add some if you like. There's a worksheet if the students need it.

      Excellent resource - thanks

    • An old chestnut. Good as an extension or a challenge. I use it at the end of a lesson to see which pairs of similar triangles they can see (there are many). I find that many pupils correctly guess the height (2/3) but are unable to prove it. The steps in this PowerPoint should help.
