Three page starter activity to laminate and use again and again. Laminate the whole sheet. Neatly cut off the words at the bottom leaving the top like a place-mat. Cut out the individual words from the bottom. Ask Learners to place the two words which make up the contraction in the two boxes next to that word. Use this starter to see what they already know or assess their recall from a previous lesson. This is a great activity to consolidate using the apostrophe.

This allows you to choose a member from your class, click anywhere in the circle and a question will be revealed for that student. e.g. 5 x 6, 9 x 6 etc. and also 6 x 8 and 6 x 10. There is then a 'back button' to return to the circle. This is a great way to assess learning through questioning. I have also used this as an extension activity with pairs of students working at the computer.

A display of the months of the year in French - just print slides 18 - 29. 4. The PDF is a sorting activity. Print, laminate and cut up the months of the year in French and English and ask your student to match them. Suitable for Primary School or Year 7.
