I have created 34 worksheets to teach Year 2 Place Value objectives. All the worksheets fit with the small steps. I have produced them all in Sassoon Primary styled font. Sheets are in the same format as other year group sheets I also have listed if you would like consistency between year groups. Here is a set of word cards that can be used in the classroom, or at home, to support Year 1 or Year 2 children who are preparing to sit the Phonics Screening Check (PSC). There are multiple sets of word cards included and these are made up of both real and alien words for children to decode. You could cut up the cards and hole punch to attach to keyrings / treasury tags for children to access, or have as sheets for children to read. There are many ways these could be used in the classroom. The title / sections names are just a way to differentiate the different sets. Provided as PDF and Word document. Font used is part of the Sassoon family so may not show accurately in word if you do not own this font.

Here is a 119 page document filled with word cards for each of the Phase 3 and 5 graphemes. Each sound has a set of cards for both real and alien words using sounds previously taught. All alien words have an image of an alien to alert the children. Cards are prefect for having in sets in the classroom to revisit as needed, intervention groups, whole class teaching, provision tasks, sending home for homework practice or even cutting up and attaching to keyrings to use in and around the classroom / home as needed. Produced using Sassoon Infant font so all letters are formed correctly to support children as they are first learning to read.
