Sort word that have the letter y by the sound it makes

This pack contains spelling sheets for numbers as words for numbers 1 to 20. They are similar to the look, cover, write, check but with a twist. Pupils get to practice the writing in different ways such as joining the dots, rainbow writing and colourful writing before covering and having a go. Cursive version is also included.

There is a board game for each of the phases 2-4 and a board game which has all the tricky words for all the phases on

There is a file for each phases tricky words. Children colour each section according to the key at the top. Once coloured a tricky word will be revealed. Great resource to send home.

Roll the dice. Chose a word from the row that matches the number rolled. If you can read it cover it up. There is a board for each phase.

Based on snakes and ladders there is a board for each of the phases 2-5. Just follow the direction on the superhero when you land on the square.
