She was Advanced Skills Teacher for Secondary Music in Barnet for 13 years.She now works freelance in music education and community music. Her work has included working with music in prisons, dementia units ,homeless support groups and eating disorder clinics and she also examines for ABRSM. She co-devised the dementia arts engagement programme MUSIC,MEMORIES and ME and is a member of the BBC Symphony Chorus
