This material is suitable for high school students or those who want to learn by themselves. In this 6-page file, you can find all the French prepositions grouped according to their meaning (where?, when?, what time?, how?, why?). The first three pages present the lists in English and French as two coloumns. The latter three are formatted in the same fashion but they have blanks instead of prepositions and can be used for teaching and avaluation purposes. The prepositions are presented in combination with various nouns as phrases in semantic groups.
There are two files in this download. One in American English and one in British English. The printable PDF files consist of forty pages. You print them, fold them in two so that there is English on one side and German on the other. You glue them together and cut them out. Using a cardboard-like thicker sheet of paper in between the card pairs will make them more durable. If you wish you can get them laminated. There are five English - German card pairs on each page.
