This PowerPoint will guide you through how fractions can be represented in various formats. The strategy used in this Powerpoint is, “I do…We do…You do”. This approach means the teacher models a good example and talks through relevant question prompts (notes are included for slides). Then the pupils have a go with the teacher before finally having their own independent go. They repeat this strategy for identifying how to read fractions and then again for how you get a whole.
