**OBSERVATION LESSON** A co-worker of mine asked would I plan a lesson observation with them on angles. A few years ago, I taught a similar lesson for an observation. Basically, this resource contains: A clear, detailed and differentiated lesson plan A simple but colourful powerpoint to use as a guideline 3 activities differentiated into high, middle and low Angle creators with arrows (just print, laminate and secure with a split pin). This lesson aims to engage a variety of learners. By using the angle creator, visual and kinesthetic learners can practically make the different types of angles that are being taught in this lesson. (Acute, obtuse, reflex, right angle, straight line angle) HA are extended by asking children to label the angles found in 2D shapes and how to measure them by using a protractor. The plenary asks children to spot angles in the clock face. A really enjoyable lesson. Please review.

This comprehension is based on Qatar as a country and the processes they’ve put in place in order to host the World Cup 2022. It provides children with an interesting background knowledge of the country while testing their comprehension skills simultaneously. I have attached comprehension questions/activities for a lower ability, middle ability and higher ability learner, all in the same document. It worked well for the abilities in my own class, however it can be adapted to suit the needs of your class too. I have saved it as a word document and a PDF.

A fantastic week's plan and detailed notebook presentation to begin maths with your new year 4's. Every activity is displayed on the presentation and the plan explicitly states what needs to be covered in order to help children to meet the learning objective. Nice, colourful, engaging slides to begin maths in a fun way. Covered: count in multiples of 1000 find 1000 more or less of a given number identify the values of different digits complete sequences involving 4 digit numbers apply my knowledge of place value to solve a problem

A week's planning based on building children up to adding using the formal method. The week begins by discussing ways to partition and add three digit numbers mentally. This embeds the idea that will be used for the week. From there, interactive activities are used to engage children with column addition and to understand that place value and aligning the digits is extremely important when using this method. This package includes a detailed, differentiated plan as well as a resource of number cards to use.

Fantastic planning on biographies with lots of interesting people to learn about such as authors and footballers. Children will learn how to write successful biographies in an interesting way. Also included is a weeks worth of SPAG in the form of starters. This resource allows children to become completely emerged in the writing style of biographies. They will understand how they should be structured, punctuated and what kind of vocabulary to be using. The planning is extremely detailed, as is the notebook file, which makes your job 10 times easier, as all you have to do is teach from this pack. There are many differentiated activities included also that just need to be printed. Children will research information on the author Louis Sacher and by the end of the week, they were excited to write a biography about him. INCLUDED: *A full week of detailed, differentiated planning. *A range of differentiated activities for using throughout the week. *A detailed notebook file that takes you step-by-step through the lessons. *SPAG/Grammar starters. *Samples of biographies to immerse the children in the language/style of writing *Images of Louis Sacher to stick in their biography. *Facts about Louis Sacher to a) inform them b) order the events in his life.

This is a weeks worth of planning on place value. It includes alot of mathematical questioning to tap into the children's understanding and allows them to understand the concept in depth. The planning includes links to interactive games online to be used to encourage all types of learners. It also teachers children to look at the 1000 before and 1000 after, aswell as looking at the value of each digit. Children will also be taught how to write a number in words and vice versa. This resource includes a weeks lesson plan and a presentation.

Planned, resourced and differentiated for a year 5 class. These lessons are highly resourced with practical, engaging activities which are aimed to encourage each type of learner and ability. A wonderful week of planning, resources and presentations to engage children in writing playscripts. As our topic was on Ancient Greece, the playscript that children will be writing will be based around Ancient Greek Gods. I found that this motivated the children more as they already had previous information on the topic. Children are introduced to playscipts by picking out the features in pairs and also gathering an understanding of what a 'myth' is. As the week progresses, children will then create a hero/heroine for their own playscipt by filling out a job application for that particular character. There is a planning/drafting day included also, with resources, to ensure children fully understand the layout of a playscript, along with using features of a Greek Myth. By the end of the week, children will produce an interesting Greek Myth play using the features correctly and effectively. This resource includes notebook presentation, differentiated resources, very detailed planning which points out explicitly what needs to be taught and how the lessons are to be differentiated, and also a success criteria for children to follow. This resource has numerous activities that are extremely well differentiated. These lessons involve teaching children strategies in order to be able to check their answers, such as rounding and estimating, and also finding the inverse. Children are further challenged to use the inverse of addition to solve missing number calculations. Again, this is well differentiated so that all abilities can access the content. This packaged includes many resources, a very detailed lesson plan, and a crystal clear notebook file. The resources have been labelled Bronze (LA), Silver (MA) and Gold (HA). There is also Platinum for G&T children. Included in lesson starters and plenaries are arithmetic tests that again, are differentiated. This keeps children's mathematical knowledge broad and fresh. This resource contains a detailed lesson plan, powerpoint and lesson starter to help you teach children how to add and subtract fractions with the same denominator. I spent a long time making this resource as I wanted to ensure children understand how to use the correct terminology i.e. numerator, denominator, whole etc. The powerpoint is extremely detailed and contains pictorial representation as well as numerical to satisfy the needs of visual learners also. The powerpoint also contains key questions, encouraging children to explain 'why' something happens. This is very effective for the overall understanding of adding and subtracting fractions. The activities are on the powerpoint, hence why there is no activity attached. There is also a challenge embedded in the plenary aimed to be completed in mixed ability pairs, in order to push on the high ability children and secure the understanding of the class. A colourful, creative way to keep track of children's knowledge of the timestables. I printed this chart on A3, filled in the children's names and ticked off the timestables as they knew them. We found it was a nice visual way to keep a note of who knew which timestables and it also became a little competitive in who knew the most. A simple 10 X 10 multiplication resource to help children with their times tables. I often allow my lower groups to use it so that I can test their knowledge of the column method and not just of the times tables.

A simple, fun game of dominos to reinforce past tense verbs for EAL children. Just cut them out in domino shape and allow children to match the correct verb with the past tense. One version has some pictures, the other just has the words.

This lesson plan provides children with an opportunity to engage with geometry in a way that should be clear to each individual learner. This lesson plan is well differentiated to the point where each group is challenged while there needs are being bet simultaneously. This plan includes lessons on: 2D shape properties and classification Lines of symmetry Lines of symmetry in irregular shapes 2D shapes in different orientations Classification of triangles. As the title suggests, there are many practical activities involved, including creating a symmetrical robot, practical classification and use of mirrors.
