Stations of the Cross Passport in Color & BW

(0)
Here’s a fun way for kids to learn about The Stations of the Cross during Lent, Holy Week, Easter, or any time. This is a passport for The Way of the Cross where kids can collect stamps for each of The Stations of the Cross that they visit. The stamp can be added to each page for the station, or they can be added at the back of the booklet on the stamp pages. Each page of the booklet has an image of the station, along with the prayers and the Stabat Mater for that station. In addition, there’s a page of the opening prayers and prayer intentions. There’s also a student information page where they can put a photo of themselves, just like a real passport! The pages are numbered and the stations pages go in between in their proper order. There is also an optional 15th station, The Resurrection, which is often used at some parishes. This is currently only a page and a stamp is not yet available. UPDATE: The stamp for the 15th station is now available. This update is not shown in the preview. Cut the cover out along the solid line and fold on the dashed line. Then cut each of the pages out on the solid lines and place them in order inside the cover. There is an area to staple on the edge so that it doesn’t interfere with the pages. The passport for The Way of the Cross is available in a color version or a black & white/grayscale version. Copyright 2016 by Elaine G of "The Treasured Schoolhouse". All Rights Reserved.

Easter Write the Room - Religious

This is a Christian write the room activity that is perfect for any religion classroom, homeschool, Sunday School, and more for Easter! This set would also be great during Lent or Holy Week. These can be placed around the room and have the kids write the words on their writing sheet what it is. Included in this set: 14 Word Cards in Color and Black & White 4 Writing Sheets (Differentiated) to Trace or Write The words included in this set are: soldier, disciple, Mary, Jesus, crown of thorns, cross, angel, Calvary, palm leaf, lily, Jesus on donkey, dove, and tomb The word choices are: Eucharist / Last Supper / Communion UPDATE: So there is a choice other than just a Communion card, I added Eucharist and Last Supper. The first page of the tracing comes in all 3 choices as well. (This update is NOT shown in the preview.) UPDATE: (02/17/2022) There is an addition of 2 word cards, as well as a full set of cards in black & white. There’s also the addition of 2 writing sheets. † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † I use this activity in my class and they just love it! I have littles, so they use the tracing page and I printed it 2-sided (front and back) so they’d only have one paper to keep track of. I have them go around to each card in small groups and I have volunteers read a little description about what each one is and where it takes place in Holy Week and Easter. After they’ve gone to each location, they go back to their desks and color the pictures. They’re so proud of themselves when they complete this because they get to fully work on this alone. When parents come to get them, they actually remember the Easter pictures and what they stand for. † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † Copyright 2017 by Elaine G of “The Treasured Schoolhouse”.
