This is a presentation on the poet, musician and writer, Benjamin Zephaniah. Use it as part of a lesson or for an assembly for KS2, KS3 or KS4. A 5 lesson literacy unit based around Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The unit is aimed at year 3 and 4 and gives details of the curriculum objectives covered. The children develop reading comprehension, speaking, planning, writing, editing and SPaG skills during the unit. This is achieved through varied, fun and interactive activities.
