Inspired by someone else's angry bird physics display i developed the following lesson resources for an angry birds lesson, i used red and green playballs to represent the birds and pigs. And we made blocks using the net attached to the sheet. There is also a design an angry bird competition sheet. It helps pupils develop simple investigation skills.

I have used the level 3 - 5 science APP statements to make an Xbox achievment assessment for the pupils called science live. It works like the achievements on xbox pupils get the black and white sheet for their books then get the coloured stickers when they unlock the achievement it is an easy skill tracker and really hooks the pupils in small prizes can be given for every 200 points unlocked to link in to your schools reward policy.

This sheet gets pupils to use google earth to look at satellite images of various things around the earth, they can guess what they are and draw them. A nice starter for the use of satellites

This is based on the rough science idea. Pupils have to design a rocket lander to bring a payload (of an egg) to earth safely. There are some rules, and they can only test it with the egg once.
