I have used these speeches for Year 11 CCEA English Language Writing for Purpose and Audience. The speech topics are very relevant and relatable to the pupils.
I use this to model examples of highly persuasive speeches and what the pupils should be aiming for. I also use it as a way for them to identify the devices that are being used frequently e.g. facts and figures, list of three.
