A simple,5 round quiz, to test students knowledge on the first 10 Core Studies for OCR Psychology. Round 1 is based on 'Who am I' and students must name the researcher. Rounds 2 and 3 are based on the background, samples and procedures respectively. Round 4 is a numbers round, the question is a number and students must identify which study and what this number represents. Round 4 is about results and conclusions

A lesson summarising the key points on each debate for Psychology OCR (including Ethnocentrism) with activities built in for each debate

A collection of activities that make students consider and analyse information they have learnt and use it in new ways. These can be used as plenaries or starters, I print them all off and have copies at the front of the class for students to pick and choose from. Some are psychology and sociology specific but many can be adapted to any subject and topic

A unit of work looking at medical ethical issues. This does not follow a specification or exam board but is an introduction to moral ideas looking at medical topics including animal testing, abortion and euthanaisa.

This is a brief, 10 lesson, introduction to ideas within RE and/or philosophy and ethics. The last few lessons include introductions to some of the main religions, and also humanistic ideas. Great for a short course for either year7’s or 8’s. There is also a homework and presentation assessment

A series of 7 sessions where students work in small groups (6-8) with people they don’t usually work with allowing them to build study skills and link across topics and subjects. They are designed to be printed and organised into folders according to the contents page and then for students to work through in independent groups. Objectives and SoL is also included.
