This is a word mat containing the absolute basics/ bare minimum that GCSE students need to know for the Speaking/Writing exam. I originally designed it for students who lacked engagement, intended to be given out before study leave. “If you learn nothing else Year 11, learn these!” I use it for all students now as a reference sheet to put in their exercise books. Once downloaded, simply delete the word ‘Preview’ (it’s just a WordArt object)
