The theme was based around "Finding God in all things" but the resource could easily be adapted for a secular purpose. In this lesson students take on the viewpoint of the famous Tudor and Stuart historian: David Starkey. Students use their own knowledge and a provided card sort to challenge Starkey's view. In this lesson students explore some of the big issues that affect our world today. Students are encouraging to think about what wealthy countries can do to support and tackle these issues such as: child soldiers, modern slavery and torture.
