Hi all, This is a lesson taken from the CCEA SAM that guides students through an analysis of the language and presentational features of the Titanic Wedding Brochure. I have then sourced materials from: Alton Towers, The Galgorm Spa and Resort, The Royal Hospital and Childline, with similar questions to ensure that students can practise answering the new style questions in preparation for the exam. Sample colour-coded paragraphs on Gerald as sometimes selfish and sometimes thoughtful. I generally tend to give them to my students and ask them to finish the essay. Hopefully they are helpful.

A sample introduction and paragraph on Form/Structure for the CCEA AS Level Study of Poetry 1900-Present unit. This looks at Heaney's 'Personal Helicon' and Frost's 'Birches' and examines the theme of self discovery. Note: this is NOT a full essay, merely a starting point.
