In this session we take a look at the Unit 1 Specification including the definition of esports. We ask the question ‘Is esports a sport or a game’ , we introduce some important organisations in the UK and look at the relationship esports has with the UK government.

These resources are designed to introduce students to the Level 3 BTEC in esports. There are a range of tasks (which follow the diagnostic) for students to undertake to get them thinking about esports including a video quiz.
