Both powerpoint presentations examine the entry of the USA into WW1 and the impact of the war on America

These reflection sheets are designed to aid students in reflecting over the key themes that they encounter during the ‘Independence Movements’ part of the IB DP History Paper 2 exam; though can be easily adapted for other parts of the Paper 2 or Paper 3 topic areas. The reflection sheet allows students to focus on key history concepts and related concepts specific to the historical period, and is also linked to the assessment feedback sheet that students use.

This lesson is comprised of two activities to allow students to assess the major events of Margaret Thatcher’s premiership. Lesson one is looking at the ‘montage sheet’ resource of key events during her period in power, and lesson two is looking through the newspaper headline activity, in order to begin to assess the reaction of the media to her actions as Prime-minister.

This resource can be used in line with the IB History course (Rights and Protest). This is a source based activity, where students use scaffolded worksheets to examine primary sources in order to study the course and possible consequences of the boycott.
