A set of Christmas themed alphabet tracing worksheets for you to print and use as many times as you need with your group of children. Great for Early years teachers, nursery teachers, special needs teachers, childminders and parents to use with their children. Each letter is on a separate worksheet with a dotty picture to trace, a dotty border and dotty capital and lower case letters to trace. Great for developing pencil control and teaching the letters of the alphabet and initial sounds. When the children have traced the pictures they can be coloured to create a great learning display. Also included in the pack are worksheets with the same pictures which could be used as colouring sheets or as an alphabet line for your classroom or educational setting or alternatively they could be made into phonics flash cards to bring a touch of Christmas to your phonics lessons! Each of these sheets has the picture, border, letters in lower and upper case and the word. The worksheets are A4 size however by altering printer settings you will be able to print them out in whatever size you would like.

The game could also be played to match lower case letters together or upper case letters together. 2-Make the CVC word- Find the Gingerbread Man letters you need to make the word on your plate- how many plates can you fill? 3-Gingerbread Man bingo- Find all the Gingerbread Man letters on your bingo board the first to be the winner! 4-Gingerbread Man skittles- Cut out and make these cute Gingerbread Man letter skittles to knock down with a ball- various games can be played to identify letters, find initial sounds, make CVC words etc. Lots of ideas are included on the instruction and ideas card. Maths games: 1-Make a Gingerbread Man- Roll a die and collect the numbered part of your Gingerbread Man. How many Gingerbread Men can you make? 2-Colour the Gingerbread Man- Roll a die and find the number on your sheet. Can you be the first person to colour all your Gingerbread Men? 3-Add the numbers- Roll two dice and add the numbers together- can you cover all the numbered Gingerbread Men on your board first? 4-Stepping stones- Move your Gingerbread Man across the stepping stones to be the first to reach the other side. If you fall in the water you have to start again! Each game is supplied with full instructions and further ideas for using the materials. Ladybird Maths and Literacy games A collection of 8 fun games Literacy games: 1-Letter Bingo- Turn over the ladybird letter cards and cover the picture on your card with the initial sound. 2-Spotty Ladybirds- Read the letters on your spotty ladybird and then listen for the sound. 3-Lower and Upper case letters- Find the matching paid ladybirds with lower and upper case letters- use all the cards or just a few. 4-CVC words- Collect the correct three ladybird letter cards to spell the CVC word on your leaf. Maths games: 1-Dotty ladybirds- Roll the special die and add or take away 1 spot on your ladybird. If the die lands on the spotty side you can take a spot from someone else! 2-Double spots- A game of doubles- match the halves of the ladybird with the same amount of spots and say the total. 3-Matching pairs- Collect two ladybird cards and see if they match. Match numbers, spots or numbers and spots together. 4-Counting ladybirds- Roll the die and turn over a leaf card with the corresponding number. A colourful set of phonics fish-great for displays, flashcards, games etc on CD This is a great set on CD of colourful fish each with a letter of the alphabet or grapheme as taught in the Letters and Sounds teaching programme. These would make a great display for your classroom or water area. Alternatively they could be used as flashcards when teaching the sounds. The fish could also be used for various games such as magnetic fishing games, matching pairs etc. The fish are also provided in black and white on the CD so they can be coloured by yourself or by the children. The font used on the fish is Sassoon Primary Infant which is widely used in Primary schools. The fish are saved as PDF files and can be opened using Adobe Acrobat Reader which is available for free from their website or is probably already on your computer.

A colourful set of Grapheme posters for you to print and use with your children during literacy or for use on displays. Great for Early years teachers, nursery teachers, special needs teachers, childminders and parents to use with their children. This set of grapheme posters has been produced using the graphemes taught in the Letters and Sounds scheme. There are a total of 69 posters to print and use (separate cards for f and ff etc). Each poster has 2 or 3 colourful pictures to represent that sound, and the word with the grapheme highlighted in red. The posters are organised in files for each of the Letters and Sounds phases in which they are taught making them very easy to access and use. Each poster is approximately A4 in size although they could be printed larger or smaller by altering print settings before printing.
