To complete the sheet, students need to fill in the relevant perspective for each sociologist (where appropriate), and a summary of their views on the topic area. To help students, all the information they need is on the back of the worksheet, so this can be used as a match up activity. Works well for differentiation- those feeling more confident can try free recall, whereas those who are unsure can use the prompts. Students enjoy using these in revision lessons, and when the sheets are complete they function as a great revision resource.

After my class were a bit confused with writing hypotheses, I put the attached lesson and worksheet together. This scaffolded the thinking process behind writing a hypothesis, to ensure they include everything they need for the full 3 marks, as this type of question comes up every year! It was a hit, and students felt far more confident afterwards. The lesson includes a crossword starter, powerpoint, worksheet for students and a printable answer sheet. So this worksheet could be used as consolidation HL instead of a lesson! Exam scenarios taken from AQA papers, questions and resources created by myself.

Revision sheets covering a lot of the content students will need to know from unit 1, for their unit 2 exam. These are largely student-led and work well as a revision activity, particularly with students in year 13 who are very familiar with the content.
