If you or your colleague find assessing PSHE a bit of a headache then try these three really simple self-assessment techniques. They can be used in pretty much any PSHE topic and require very little planning or input. Use them more than once and your pupils will become more confident in using them. Please download, share and review. Good luck! Need some more help with planning and teaching primary PSHE? Anti-bullying week ideas sheet

Quite a few teachers have asked for some ideas for anti-bullying week so I’ve put together a lost of some simple tried and tested ideas. This isn’t a set of lesson plans but rather a springboard to get your thinking about how you could use some of the activities in your school but of course you’ll add your own flavour! As always with any PSHE-related activities it’s best to plan them as a part of a spiral programme running throughout the school but sometimes we just need a bit of a helping hand! Don’t forget to maintain that balance of knowledge, skills and understanding. Have a great anti-bullying week. Need more help? This lesson plan is for upper KS2. As friendships start to change the conflicts and upsets that children experience can seem all-consuming. This tried and tested lesson plan offers pupils the chance to develop some problem-solving and conflict resolution skills that they can use themselves in class and in the playground. Hopefully no more spending half the afternoon unravelling the issues from lunchtime play! If you enjoy using this lesson plan please spread the word and please leave a review too.
