This is a set of 3 lesson plans designed for lessons of approximately 2.5 hours, but could be longer depending on the abilities and knowledge of the learners. Each has a clear description of the lesson and this resource comes with 9 printable worksheets for the learners to complete. Particularly useful for Job Clubs, Ex-Offenders, Return to Work Courses and more. It is suitable for all abilities, although some learners may need support in completing the written elements. The business plans could be split into smaller sessions for learners with limited concentration levels. It has been prepared to actively encourage learners to consider business start-up as a real alternative to employment.

This is a workbook of 6 pages to be used in conjunction with other activities over a whole day of a training course or similar. It is aimed at those considering starting a business or young people thinking of this as just an option. The resource is a 6 page workbook and accompanying tutor version workbook with some extra points of note and examples of how to encourage the learners. I have aimed this particular style of workbook to young apprentices and adults alike and it seems to work well with both, albeit with differing results and feedback.
